Walk London Completion Certificates

Since February 2008 nearly 300 people have contacted Walk London to request a Certificate of Completion for one of the seven Strategic Walks. There must be plenty more people out there who have also completed one or more routes but have not known about, or perhaps wanted, a certificate; we wonder just how many that might be! More people seem to have tackled the Capital Ring (185) than the LOOP (82) with very few having walked the whole of any of the other routes, including the Thames Path in London. (Although Natural England provide Certificates for completing the whole National Trail from the source, not just the London section which Walk London only covers).

We wonder how many Capital Ring completers go on to tackle the LOOP. Occasionally we hear from people who have walked a route more than once, sometimes in both directions. Recently we heard from someone who has walked the Capital Ring more than 14 times!

Do let us have your stories of walking any section: you can enter direct to the Visitors’ Book on the website (though if you want to share your photos they have to be emailed to info@walklondon.org.uk). We’d like to hear from anyone who has walked either the majority or all the routes (including the new Jubilee Greenway which largely overlaps with the Thames Path and Capital Ring) or the whole of one route more than once!
