Trinity Buoy Wharf and Lighthouse

The Dome may be an obvious landmark on this part of the Thames Path, but across the river are many fascinating examples of the ways in which the use of the Thames has changed throughout the years. Trinity Buoy Wharf and Lighthouse are clearly visible on the north side.

Once part of the working Thames, the Wharf is now an example of some of the exciting development taking place in the area. Ironically, since containerisation was partly to blame for the declining industry in this area, containers are now being reused here to create brightly coloured "container cities", rented out as studios and "live/work" spaces.
