A very green section, with little roadwalking. After crossing Sandy Lodge Golf Course, the route snakes through woodlands separating South Oxhey from Northwood and Pinner. It then crosses farmland around the little community of Pinnerwood, where you walk between charming cottages with well-kept ponds and lawns.
Most of the section is in Hertfordshire, but comes back into Greater London towards the end. For a while the route is shared with the Pinner-Grimsdyke Circular Walk (also the South Oxhey Circular Walk, not covered in this book being completely outside Greater London).
